Bio

Yulei Niu obtained his Ph.D. at Renmin University of China, advised by Prof. Ji-Rong Wen and Prof. Zhiwu Lu. He was a visiting student in DVMM Lab at Columbia University, advised by Prof. Shih-Fu Chang. He also works closely with Prof. Hanwang Zhang from Nanyang Technological University. Prior to the Ph.D. study, Yulei received B.E. degree in Computer Science from Renmin University of China in 2015.
His research interests include vision and language, visual reasoning, and causal inference.
